Canglong Group provided high-specification EPS sandwich panels for the cannabis house project in Thailand and dispatched a specialized engineering installation team for the entire construction process. The project has now been successfully completed and handed over to the client for operation.

This project is located in Thailand, at the forefront of cannabis legalization and industrialization in Southeast Asia. Due to the extremely stringent mechanical and biological requirements for indoor temperature, humidity, cleanliness, and airtightness in the cultivation, growth, storage, and processing of cannabis plant, Canglong Group tailored a one-stop, comprehensive solution for embedded, high-airtightness cannabis houses within the factory premises.
The project ingeniously departs from conventional outdoor factory construction, instead utilizing high-precision prefabricated enclosure panels within the existing industrial plant to create a separate, highly moisture-proof, large-scale integrated cannabis storage and processing workshop for the client.

The interior partitions and ceilings are entirely equipped with high-quality polystyrene sandwich panels from Canglong. Addressing Thailand’s consistently hot and humid climate, these panels, with their excellent thermal insulation and superior physical rigidity, effectively create a fully enclosed temperature-controlled barrier for the cannabis processing facility, completely cutting off heat and moisture exchange between the interior and exterior. Without relying on high-powered central air conditioning, they perfectly complement the interior lighting, ventilation, and irrigation systems, resulting in a dramatic reduction in long-term cooling operating costs.
Addressing the project’s near-obsessive requirements for the airtightness of tongue-and-groove joints and the lack of experience in high-precision cleanroom installation among overseas workers, Canglong Group demonstrated its strong multinational full-service capabilities, directly dispatching a team of experienced, certified Chinese installation engineers to the project site in Thailand.

The installation team overcame numerous inconveniences of cross-border operations, implementing a fully dry, modular, and precise mechanized assembly process based on BIM 3D digital drawings. There was zero hot work and zero cutting on site, with the tongue-and-groove alignment error of the panels controlled to the millimeter level. The roof and water tightness were completed within the extremely short golden construction window, reducing the overall project timeline by half compared to the client’s expectations.
