Recently, high-performance PIR cold storage panels, precision-manufactured and supplied by Canglong Group, have successfully completed high-specification secure packaging according to international shipping standards and have been officially shipped to the US client’s modern cold chain logistics project site.

The US market has some of the most stringent entry requirements globally for energy efficiency compliance and fire safety regulations in food and pharmaceutical warehousing and cold chain logistics (such as FM certification standards and stringent ASTM fire resistance tests). The PIR cold storage panels shipped this time use the latest generation of rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) as the core insulation layer. Compared to traditional insulation materials, PIR has an excellent low thermal conductivity and a closed-cell rate of over 95%. It creates an airtight, cold-sealed enclosure for cold storage, helping US owners directly cut over 35% of their refrigeration operating expenses (OPEX). Simultaneously, PIR’s excellent carbonization and flame-retardant properties give it a high standard of structural self-extinguishing capability, perfectly aligning with North America’s stringent fire regulations.

Considering the long international shipping distances and frequent transshipment and handling, to ensure the high-precision tongue-and-groove joints arrive at the US construction site intact, the Canglong Logistics team customized a double-layer heavy-duty anti-collision packaging solution.

Inner Layer Fine Protection: Each set of panels is seamlessly wrapped with an anti-static, wear-resistant protective film, and special high-elasticity anti-collision corner protectors are added to the specially designed tongue-and-groove joints and interlocking edges to completely prevent micro-deformation of the metal during transportation.
Outer Layer Rigid Locking: The entire exterior is double-secured with heavy-duty high-density stretch wrap film, and is equipped with a fumigation-free integrated base tray and rigid straps included with the box. This closed-loop containerized palletized shipping method ensures that products remain in perfect condition, free of scratches and deformation, even after enduring rough seas.
