Recently, Class A fireproof EPS core panels customized and fully upgraded by Canglong Group for its Costa Rican client, have successfully completed digital precision manufacturing and overseas container packaging and shipment. These EPS panels are specifically designed for the stringent fire safety regulations and rainy climate of Central America’s industrial and commercial buildings, achieving a perfect balance between extreme cost-effectiveness and robust fire resistance.

Canglong’s technical team broke through the fire safety limitations of traditional EPS (polystyrene) foam building materials by uniformly injecting modified high-performance flame-retardant and fire-resistant particles into the foam core.

This modified core material is self-extinguishing upon removal of the flame, does not spread the fire, and does not produce molten droplets, directly elevating the fire resistance rating of the entire board to the international Class A non-combustible standard. This helps local owners easily pass the stringent one-time inspections by the local building and fire departments.

In response to Costa Rica’s consistently high humidity and intense sunlight, the solution incorporates a scientifically designed, staggered layering thickness.

75mm thick high-tensile wall panels: Provide excellent lateral bending resistance and mechanical support to the building’s exterior walls, effectively locking in external heat and preventing condensation and mold growth indoors.
50mm thick lightweight roof panels: Significantly reduce the load on the main steel roof structure. Combined with a concealed interlocking design, this ensures 100% leak-proof construction during the tropical rainy season.

All fire-resistant eps core panels are laminated on Canglong’s continuous adhesive spraying and hot-pressing production line and precisely cut to length according to BIM construction drawings.
