Detailed Information

The following is about the construction procedure for insulated wall panels.

1. Clearance of Site
a. Clear up the construction waste and level the ground to create a safe and favourable construction environment.
b. Either ensure the flatness of the wall surface or put forward a feasible alternative.
c. For the rugged part, fill it up or bulldoze it.

2. Scale Division and Lining
a. Choose laying system of frame (horizontally or vertically) according to varied patterns of insulated wall panel.
b. Confirm the starting position and connecting position between board and seam on the basis of the design and dimension of buildings, and then snap both a horizontal and a vertical line.
c. Locate the frame based on the length of Insulated Wall Panel and the sizes of different sections of buildings, and then snap a vertical line on the wall surface.
d. Frame spacing
When buildings are over 30m high, spacing is generally between 400mm and 500mm. When the height is less than 30m, spacing should be within 500mm to 600mm.
e. According to the position of the dividing lines, hang horizontal and vertical control lines (i.e. lines ensuring the levelness and uprightness of the wall surface.).
f. Hang longitudinal control lines around the internal and external corners, windows and the balcony.

3. Frame installation
a. Check the spacing between frame and angle iron in accordance with the requirement of overall thickness and thickness of external thermal insulation system being less than 50mm. Apply the rubber pad if spacing is less than 10mm between them.
b. Put the galvanized frame in place and fasten the expansion bolts. It should be noted that when buildings are no less than 30m high, spacing between bolts shall not be beyond 400mm. While the height is below 30m, spacing between bolts shall be within the scope of 400mm to 500mm. And then remember to fasten and tighten the bolts.
c. Deviation of galvanized frame installation from levelness and uprightness must not exceed 2.5mm. For the sections below standard height, adjust them with steel shim.
d. There should be thunder-proof connection at the bottom of frame and also firm connection with the grounding bus of the construction company.
e. The embedding depth of expansion bolts into the wall should be above 50mm.
f. A thermal insulating layer is created behind the wall by the part below the outer surface of the frame and the insulation board. Thickness of the air layer shall be beyond the scope of 10mm to 20mm.
g. In the event of original wall cracking during construction, repair it with polystyrene foam and plastic expansion bolts.

4. Installation of insulated wall panel
a. Cut the Insulated Wall Panel according to design paper and the actual dimension of wall, and the one point to be noted is to handle the design properly.
b. Install the Insulated Wall Panel from bottom to top based on the horizontal control line. And self-tapping screws and rivets can be used in fixing it with the frame.
c. Some steps should be followed during installation, for example, eave wall first, and then gable wall. Foreland first and thereafter abutted seams. Side wall before the arch and window frame. Matching with the internal and external angles. Adjustment to copping and abutted seams.
d. Apart from fastening with screws and rivets when installing accessories, apply water-proof glue to seal off the seams, and allow no leakage (with spacing subject to consensus of the supervisor and the manufacturer.)
e. To make the windowsill, you may directly mount the window piece bonded with a 15mm polystyrene board, and fix and fasten a right-angle window piece at the junction.
f. No insulation should be in the connection between the Insulated Wall Panel and frame, so that firm thunder-proof grounding can be guaranteed.
g. There should be no knocking by rubber hammer when connecting the upper and lower boards of Insulated Wall Panel, and you can fasten the rivets only after a gentle connecting with a little gap between boards.
